The counselling department conducted a session on Good Touch and Bad Touch for students of class 6th and 7th, where the children were sensitised about identifying a good and bad touch and the feelings after a touch. Feeling of discomfort, sadness, frustration and anger are related to bad touch and feelings of joy, comfort and safety with good touch. Children were also made aware of the inappropriate places for a touch and the right actions that need to be taken right away. Secondly, children were also guided about Bullying and it’s various forms and the zero-tolerance policy against bullying in the School and were encouraged to raise a voice if they face any form of Bullying or sees someone being bullied and to immediately inform the nearest teacher/counsellors/School Head about the same.
