The 5th The Tribune Trust Sports Festival with the theme Mainstreaming of Physical Education and Sports under the Fit India week (Handball and Netball)Tournament (2022-23)started with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm at the The Tribune School.
The tournament was inaugurated by Dr. Dolly Khanna, Deputy Director Sports department, Punjab University .
Ms. Deepa , former Indian Handball player now working with the Indian Railways was the guest of honor.
Mr. Amit Kumar , National Medalist ,now working with the Indian Postal department was also the guest of honor.
Eight teams for the Netball Championship Ankur Public School,Sacred Heart , Government Model High School Karsan , Government Model Senior Secondary School Sec 20, CLDAV sec-7, St. Peter sec 37, St. Mary’s sec 46, The Tribune School
Nine teams for the Handball championship- Guru Nanak Khalsa School sec -30, Janendra Public School Panchkula, St. Peter, Government Model Senior Secondary School , sec -56, St . Xavier’s sec 44, Government Model Senior Secondary School sec 16, CLDAV sec 7, St. Mary’s sec 46, The Tribune School sec 29 Participated in the tournament.
