Tribune Model School commemorated the 101th birthday of Nelson Mandela, who fought against apartheid. The celebration continued for a fortnight and was culminated with a special assembly. Different activities and sessions were conducted focusing on his life and the principles given by him.
The corridors of the school came alive with different values propagated by him through various mediums (chart, quotes) made by the students. The students enjoyed the South African music. An activity highlighting the value of cleanliness was done by the students in and around the school. Paper bags were made by the students to collect the trash from nearby areas. Each and every child was adorned with the badge.
The students enjoyed the gallery walk along with their teachers to know more about Nelson Mandela. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem of the two countries.
