Tribune Model School observed Hindi Literary Week from 02 August - 05 August, 2017. On the first day of Hindi Literary Week, a session was conducted by Mr. Vijay Kumar, recipient of the Ustad Bismillah Khan Award. The workshop had an interactive session by Mr. Vijay, illustrating different styles of storytelling.
Thirteen schools participated in the workshop. The session concluded with the honoring of Mr. Vijay kumar by the school Principal Ms. Vandana Saxena by giving a souvenir.
On the second day of the Hindi Literary Week, ongoing in Tribune Model School, Sector 29, the students of the primary school enacted a short skit emphasizing the need to preserve and restore the environment for the survival of human beings.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Kewal Tiwari, the senior sub-editor in Dainik Tribune.
Mr. Tiwari enlightened the students for improving their writing skills by understanding their emotions and cited the poem ‘Aao hum sab jhula jhulein’ by the famous poet Sumitranandan Pant.
The assembly concluded with Ms. Vandana Saxena, the Principal, presenting Mr. Kewal Tiwari with a momento.
The third day of Hindi Literary Week saw 13 schools participating in the 'Story Telling Competition'. Each team had 4 members.The main emphasis of the stories was moral values in our day to day life.
New Saraswati Publications conducted a workshop on the topic 'The Linguistics of Hindi Language & Teachings of Hindi Grammar' on the Fourth and Last day of Hindi Literary Week. The resource person for the workshop was Prof. Ravi Prakash Gupta, an eminent writer and Hindi Teacher.
