The 4th Tribune Trust Football Tournament (2019-2020) embodying the spirit of the motto ‘DON’T ASPIRE TO BE THE BEST ON THE TEAM, ASPIRE TO BE THE BEST FOR THE TEAM’, started with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm at the Tribune Model School.
Fourteen schools from the tricity have participated in the tournament in both categories, Boys and Girls.
The Second Day of the 4th Tribune Trust Football Tournament (2019-2020) continued with fervor while keeping the competition alive in the quarter-finals and the semi-final matches.
As the competition grew tough, so did the competitors.

Tomorrow, October 16, 2019, will see the teams of Tribune Model School and St. Xavier’s competing in the finals, in the Boys category and the teams of Tribune Model School and Sacred Heart School, in the Girls category.
The Boys team of Tribune Model School and the Girls team of Sacred Heart School emerged as the Winners of the 4TH Tribune Trust Football Tournament (2019-2020) organized by The Tribune Model School from October 14, 2019 to October 16, 2019.
The Chief Guest of the occasion was Prof. Gurmeet Singh, the Chairperson of the Physical Education Department of Panjab University and also the former Director Sports, Panjab University.
Mrs. Chand Nehru,the Chairperson, also graced the occasion with her presence.
The First Runner up Boys was St. Xavier’s School and First Runner up Girls was The Tribune Model School.
The Second Runner up Boys was Ankur School and the Second Runner up Girls was New Public School.
The trophy for the Best Payer for Boys went to Amit, Class VIII, The Tribune Model School, who scored five goals in the tournament. The trophy for the Best Player for Girls went to Ayushi, Class VIII, The Tribune Model School, who scored four goals in the tournament.
The tokens of appreciation were given to the coaches of the teams of the top four positions.
Mr. Gurmeet, in his address to the young footballers, encouraged them for a healthy lifestyle and to pursue their dreams.
